Revolutionary Laser Pulse Technology for Enhanced LIBS Analysis.

At Onteko, we recognize the critical importance of achieving high levels of ionization for accurate and reliable LIBS analysis. That’s why we've developed a revolutionary laser pulse technology specifically designed to optimize ionization levels, resulting in significantly improved signal quality and peak detection.

Traditional Q-Switch Regime in LIBS:
Most laser systems on the market utilize the conventional Q-Switch regime, which produces pulses lasting nanoseconds. While this method is commonly used in LIBS applications, it does not fully exploit the potential of successive pulse interactions within the plasma.

Innovative Onteko’s Burst-mode Q-Switch Pulses:
What sets Onteko apart is our advanced approach to pulse structuring. Although the laser instrument fires what is considered a single pulse, our technology actually generates a sequence of 'micropulses' within that pulse. Each micropulse is separated by just 5-20 microseconds and lasts only 5-7 picoseconds. This timing is critical because the typical duration of plasma is several tens of microseconds, allowing each subsequent micropulse to interact with the plasma already ionized by the previous pulse. This cascade effect enhances ionization with each successive micropulse.

Increased Ionization and Signal Enhancement:
By employing this burst-mode technique, Onteko's laser system significantly boosts ionization levels, leading to more pronounced characteristic peaks, improved signal-to-noise ratios, and overall enhanced detection capabilities in LIBS analysis.

Precision and Analytical Power:
This micropulse technology not only ensures more effective ionization but also allows for greater accuracy in detecting and analyzing elemental compositions. Onteko’s innovative pulse structure makes LIBS analysis more reliable and precise, enabling better identification of materials and elements in a variety of applications.
